What is your safety protocol for outdoors eco sessions?

One online session is required before working outdoors to assess if this is the right fit for you. We meet at a public park without any animal or people companions unless discussed first. All safety forms and consent forms must be signed for liability. Most importantly, the place must feel safe to you! A 1099 contract will be sent to client upon scheduling a session.

What certificates do you hold?

~I have held a QMHA license for past 20 years.

~I am graduating from Capella University with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy 12/31/25.

What is a land tax?

Paying a land tax is a way of respecting Indigenous Sovereignty in Oregon by paying a fee at the end of the fiscal year for the land that I occupy and use to the tribe of that area. It is a small gesture embedded in a deep desire to work towards more advocacy work and to have a right relationship with the land. Acknowledgements without action are empty and self serving. Questions, thoughts, or concerns are welcome.

What Social Justice frameworks informs your work?

I have worked in advocacy and community work for over twenty years with a clear lens of intersecting sociocultural factors and the belief that all work for justice is connected. I have training in non-violent communication and intentional community work as well as anti-poverty, anti-racism, and houseless community advocacy work. I work from a de-centered approach that trusts the client as the expert. While there are specific people and organizations that I follow for continued education and accountability these groups do not specifically endorse me. Is there sliding scale and barter trade options?

Sliding scale options and pro bono are currently held for returning clients only at this time. These slots are for low income individuals, and/or people experiencing marginalization and systemic oppression.

Barter offers are welcome and must meet the financial value of the session and needs of the facilitator. Future offerings as a therapy associate can’t advertise for barter trade but can be accepted when offered.
