Spirit river is so named because its  water vanishes to reappear in a new pattern.

The stress of going through a marriage separation was the most difficult experience I've ever been through, and not one I ever want to repeat. Naturally my first impulse soon after was the need to talk to someone; to try to make sense of it and spill it out to a trusted friend.

Christina was not only patient, gentle, compassionate and loving but impartial as well. She took on the delicate job of consolling and councelling both myself and my estranged wife. She acted as our mediator to help us come to terms with a relationship we would soon recognize as irretrievable.

Christina suggested a simple ceremony to take place on her and her husband Mitch's home property, where we could gather in the privacy and solitude of the Spirit River Valley and carry out a sort of spiritual divorce. The ceremony and setting proved to be a natural step to resolve our situation and we were able to move on to our legal matters in a calm, repectful and guilt free way. My heart felt thanks go out to Christina and Mitch for their unconditional support and warmth through a difficult time in my life.
